Unlocking the future: Our developers dive deep into AI!

At Purple, innovation is in our DNA, and we're always looking for ways to empower our developers with the latest tools and knowledge. That's why we recently held an incredibly insightful AI workshop, spearheaded by external AI gurus, František Dalecký and Vojtěch Gintner.

Our developers are already leveraging the power of Cursor AI in their daily work, but this workshop aimed to push the boundaries even further. The primary goal was to showcase the immense possibilities and practical applications of AI within our existing workflows and tools, specifically tailored to the services we use.

The agenda kicked off with a concise presentation, introducing a variety of AI tools and their diverse uses. But the real magic happened in the main session, where Vojtěch provided a hands-on demonstration of AI's practical application directly within Cursor. We delved into the exciting world of AI agents, focusing on how they can revolutionize task preparation, from crafting technical specifications to detailed product requirements. We even explored the art of prompt writing, demonstrating how to fine-tune prompts to ensure AI captures every minute detail of a product brief.

One of the most impressive showcases was the seamless integration of Cursor, Linear, and GitHub. We witnessed AI taking a task brief directly from Linear, programming it within Cursor, and even creating pull requests automatically!

And for the grand finale, the cherry on top was the demonstration of Devin AI, which handled the entire development flow, from task assignment all the way to generating a pull request on GitHub.

It was an inspiring and eye-opening experience for everyone involved, proving that the future of development is increasingly intertwined with the intelligent capabilities of AI.
